2016 Paddle Namekagon Schedule

Trip Details and Sponsors

Paddle Options

For 2016, we are offering two parallel trip options: a 6-day paddle from June 11-17, and a 3-day paddle from June 12-15. In the list of River Day details below, these options are denoted as follows:

 6-day Paddle – June 11-17
 3-day Paddle – June 12-15

Meals

Several meals will be included in the registration. We are not able to accommodate special diets; however, there is typically enough variety to satisfy meat & non-meat eaters. On days that meals are provided, all you’ll need to do is show your wristband. Each River Day shown below indicates whether meals are included in registration or are your responsibility.

simply-native-foods-logoWe are also excited to announce that the participants of the Paddle can start their mornings with Simply Native Quick Cooking Wild Rice Hot Cereal! Packed with protein and antioxidants, Simply Native’s wild rice, a roasted grass kernel, is harvested in Minnesota. Each morsel is carefully cultivated for your enjoyment. Juliet, Prescott, and their two sons, Cameron and Colin, founded Simply Native Foods through their love of foraging indigenous foods like wild plums and wild rice near their organic family farm.

Lodging

All camping accommodations are pre-arranged and considered part of the registration fee. Participants are responsible for making arrangements on their own for a room or cabin when optional lodging is available. This is NOT included in the registration fee.
